Between Sunset and River

Apologies that I’ve had to leave so many conversations hanging – both here and at other places. I am reading – and hoping to get back to everyone next week, after the Historical Materialism conference.

Much to say… soon…

I pop in here once a day to see what words of wisdom you’re sharing. Hey Lynda – the title is a reference to a Nabokov poem 🙂 – and the prickly thing is an echidna – an alter-ego, all balled up, in defensive mode (if you look very closely, you can see the face peeking out from behind the spikes) – preparing for the trip 🙂

lol – yeah, these are wonderful little beasts – Australian porcupine-ish creatures 🙂 I rather like them as alter-egos 🙂

Congratulations on your interview, by the way 🙂 I’m currently waiting on the outcome of one – hoping to know, one way or the other, very soon… (Thus the lack of substantive posting lately – too nervous to think! 🙂 )
